Camel Trekking

Camel trekking in Merzouga is a popular activity for tourists visiting Morocco:

Merzouga is a small town located in the southeast of Morocco, near the Algerian border, and it is known for its vast sand dunes that are often referred to

as the “Erg Chebbi dunes.”During a camel trekking experience in Merzouga, you can explore the desert, and enjoy the stunning scenery, riding on the back of a camel.

Typically, a camel trek will take you through the desert landscape for several hours, and you will have the opportunity to see some incredible sights such as the sunrise or sunset over the dunes, nomadic villages, and perhaps even some wildlife.

The trekking experience usually includes a stop at a traditional Berber campsite, where you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan meal and spend the night in a tent under the stars.
