1 Day Excursion From Marrakech

 

After a breakfast leave to Essaouira, a small fortified city bathed by the Atlantic and declared World Heritage Site in 2001 and has traditionally been given names such as The Pearl of the Atlantic or Sleeping Beauty. There you can stroll and enjoy the beaches, the walls and the medina. Have lunch then return to Marrakech in the afternoon.

 

Ouzoud waterfalls located near a village with the same name. it’s impressive 110 meters above sea level are those that give strength to the waters of the el-Abid. The Ouzoud waterfalls are the largest and most impressive waterfalls in North Africa. The walk around the falls is very beautiful, you can surround the falls on both sides while enjoying the flora and fauna. Back in the afternoon to Marrakech.

 

Departure from your Riad or Hotel heading to Oaurazazate on the high Atlas

mountian through the pass of Tizi-N-Tichka ” 2260 alt”,enjoy the Berber villages and

farms before we arrive to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (fortified town) that has been filmed on dozens of occasions, including major films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, The Mummy and the Jewel of the Nile. Then continue to Ouarzazate which is known as “The Hollywood of Africa” visit Taourirt Kasbah, have Lunch then back to Marrakech.

 

A day trip to the Ourika river course in order to admire the scenery of the

High Atlas, completely different to that seen in Marrakech and populated by small villages on the slopes of the valley. We will continue to Setti Fatma, a small town from which part to visit the waterfalls of the river Ourika where you can enjoy the delicious food of Tajin and a short walk along the falls of Ourika.Back up in the afternoon to Marrakech.
